Espelir (Active Down) Springs
I did a search here on these springs, and couldn't find much info. Does anyone here have these springs? There's a guy selling these but the ad says these springs are for 98-02 Accord V6 coupe. So do these actually fit 2g TL-S?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Here's the ad description:
Fits Honda Accord 98-02 V6 Coupe
Espelir (Active Down)
Drop: Front 1.9", Rear 1.5"
I asked the guy for the part number. From what I have been reading online, the part number for the whole set is SPERUA4, and that should fit CG5 (98-02 Accord), UA4, UA5.
Let me do a seach on ESH-239F for front ESH-239R..thanks man!
And do you by any chance know if these springs are good? Ride...handling..etc. I have a set of tokico Illuminas.....are they compatible?
Also, will I have to worry about sagging?
EDIT: sorry, ignore the SPERUA4 part.....

^ why worry about it and not just get the H&R or Eibach which are known high quality springs?

There is a set for sale in my area for $100..that's pretty much the only reason....I would save like $200 ($230 for H&R + shipping + Canadian duties) if not more going with this. That's why I'm interested in knowing whether this set is any good or not.

Ya, only problem is shipping to Canada is pretty $$ and there's a chance I have to pay duties (doesn't matter if it's new or used). I mean if these Espelir are no good at all, then I won't consider at all. But if they fit, and have decent quality, then I think I would go for these. These are brand new by the way. Before I found these, I have been looking for some H&R Sports springs.

Did a little more research, and found the following info:
For ESH-239 - Front: 40-45mm drop (~1.6" to 1.75"); Rear: 30-35mm drop (~1.2" to 1.4"); spring rates are 6 front and 4 rear as you have said.
But I asked the seller, and the part number is ESA023. And drop is 50mm front /40mm rear, with no info on spring rates.
I'm a little confused here...lol...are they the same springs, with different part numbering systems between different countries?

I ran espelirs on my S2000...a lot of people run them on those cars. The quality is good and the ride on stock shocks was also pretty good. For 100 do it yourself and save some money... If you don't like them sell them for 100 bucks again....
THey are not some cheap brand springs though...they are used in japan alot..

hey man I got your PM, but your inbox is full.
I sold the TL a couple years ago...
Anyways, I never figured out the springs.... in the end I just bought a new set of H&R springs with Tokico adjustable struts.....
