TPS or TB swap?

  1. Replace TPS
  2. Replace Throttle Body

My '01 TPS is all jacked up, too cold or too hot and rpms bounce like a kid on a trampoline. Trouble starting sometimes too but codes always seem to read out TPS.

So my two ideas to fix:
Replacing the TB, seems a lot easier: unplug, unscrew, and replace (plug and play) vs TPS: dremel slits, rigging the wiring with a multi-meter, and trying to get the positioning right. I figure spend an extra $30 for a clean TB would just be an overall better for the car.

Which option would you pick in this situation?

Is there anything I should know before attempting either one of these options? ECU shouldn't have issues with either right?
