Weird front passenger side shimmy..HELP!
Checked my tires and everything looks good there...I don't think its a warped rotor because it happens when the brakes are not being applied..it feels like the tire is an oval and seems to shake less at higher speeds...the steering wheel actually moves to the right and then back to center as this shimmying is going on...help, its driving me nuts and I can't seem to find the problem....don't remember hitting any potholes or anything like that...Thanks AcuraZine!!

Could be many things. Tires, axles, tie rod, ball joint. The first thing i would do is rotate the tire to the rear and the rear to the (one side at a time) to see if it goes away. If it does you know its most likely a out of round/balance tire that you moved to the rear. If not then its something else up front.

get to an alignment shop ASAP for a professional inspection
you could have something serious going on with a tie rod or related part
Im not usually an alarmist- but when it came to this thread!!! let a pro look at it today

Update: front passenger side tire had a broken steel belt...thats all it was! WHEW! I was prepared to spent some big bucks on a tie rod or ball joint, etc....Bought 2 new front tires, had the alignment checked and I was good to go..car feels so good, I tanked up and took it on a 2 hour run, then changed the oil...what a relief!

They did road hazard warranty the new tires, they think the broken belt was caused by the cold + hitting a bad pothole....no problem jacking my thread Kidduce....not sure if bad camber would cause a shake...you may want to post the question on its own thread to make sure it gets seen and answered by more people....take care!

how much camber are we talking about? actual degree of negative measure?
at a certain point you can damage the tire and cause probs beyond wear issue
in general- camber is not primary source of shake
