Door locks on the fritz!

My locks started acting weird. I now unlock the doors once or twice and as soon as i go and pull up on the handle to open it the car locks and it leaves the door locked but half open. Then i have to open the doors again. What is the deal?

Ok, i need this fixed today! This is what happened. I got the door handle and key lock cylinder replaced by a body shop and ofcourse they had to take off the door inside to fix it.
BUT now it wont open ever, i unlock the doors and it ALWAYS relocks when i try to open it. AND it wont unlock from the inside either it ALWAYS relocks in there also. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON? AND i can open the other doors just fine.

Take it to the person who worked on your door, they must have touched something.

Thought I'd bump an old thread to see if anyone else has had similar issues. Most door / lock threads have to do with the locks not working, but my situation is similar to the one the OP posted.

Door locked. Using remote to unlock doors (drivers only or all 4) works, but all doors immediately lock again. I managed to get in my car by manually unlocking the driver side door with my key, but even when I do this, the door tries to lock again right away - I guess it just gave me a split second more to pull the handle?

Inside the car, all doors locked, I hit the unlock button and the same thing happens as stated above.

Any one else deal with this? Any ideas?

My first thought would be; do you have an aftermarket security or remote start system?

When I worked at Honda (as a car wash guy) we had a few Accords that would do something similar.

Car running, on the track to go into the car wash, we had 2 (with no outside input & no one in the car) lock themselves.
I can't remember what the part was that the techs said caused it, but IIRC it had a strange name.

Could possibly be a problem with the transmitter programming. an actuator switch, a relay or possibly the multiplex control unit.

Multiplex, I think that's what was bad on the 2 we had spontaneously lock.

I've thought about the actuator but the locks function.... just not when they're supposed to.

I'm thinking relay or this multiplex thing you guys mentioned? Which # would that coorespond to on the parts diagram?

Sorry, I don't know how to post pictures right lol.
