1999 tl 3.2 ...all of a sudden...poof...no heat
My temp system used to make a very very quiet squeak while the temperature was being modulated. That quiet squeaky sound is gone, and so is my heat.
Does that sound like the air mix/blend valve stopped working? I assume it is a 0-100% proportional valve, since sometimes it has to be open partway, not just open/closed. My AC will go on/off if I press the AC button on the climate control. The blower works and will go faster/slower. Just no temp control on the air streaming into the cabin: by the feet, out from the dash, out to the windshield. Just cold air.
Help. It's March in the Midwest and still gets down to the 20s. I am cold.

The climate control has it's own DTC system, and it will tell you what is broken. You can find how to perform check what AC DTCs there are in the service manual (you had to press certain buttons while starting the car, don't really remember.) Check out the service manual for instructions. I can give you a link to the service manual if you don't have it.
