SMH, I drive slammed all day idk if I'm lower than you or not, but eh, you scrape you scrape, the JDM bumper can handle the natural road rash that comes when you're low. Deal with it.

Henry, holy shit that's low.

yea im thinking of gettting the WW lip molded on, cause ima try to get the fins cut off. but i've heard that molding will crack faster. But most likely im jus end up keeping it at the same height.

If u were the 2nd gen at acurafest (i think u are) then i think were about the same height.

the WW front lip is sickkk, but the fins just kill it......how come they could create other front lips for cars? but we only got the OEM lip, and WW lip? im sure another style of lip would look sick as well and create another look....

I dunno, I'm kind of partial to the WW kit. the wings make it unique and stand out a bit..

I mean c'mon it's better than the spyder or sarona kit

idk i liked the fins on the OEM bumper. but its not gonna flow with the JDM one. im thinking of going VIP so the fins gotta go. if i cant find a OEM lip ima just get the fins cut off and the lip molded on.

maxed out on Function & Forms = frame to the ground.

there are also Megans, NEX, Blackworks, BC Racing, and much much more..

just remember that anything from a 98-02 Honda Accord fits.

thanks and welcome to the forum! fortunately, i am not maxed out on these function & form type 1 coilovers! maxed out would be literally sitting on the ground and i still have more than enough threads for that to happen.

personally, my own ride is stiff. considering i always keep my cold tire pressures at 36psi (just to save gas). and i had about a .5 inch of preload if you remembered. so on a scale, i couldnt really give you a number unless i redid the preload.

but my homies who are running these coilovers say they're pretty soft after they've been broken in and i'm way past that point and it's true cause i've ridden in their 2g's/accord.

Hi Guys, new to the TL scene, So I just read through the entire thread, looks like Function and Form are the way to get low along with some others. I have read that the Function and Form blow if they are in a cold climate, is this the case? I live in Colorado and want to dump my TL, but the last thing I need is to invest in Coils only to be unhappy with issues. Is there a list of slammed suspension set ups some where here? I haven't stumbled upon that thread yet if so. Thanks for your help! I look forward to posting some pics here...

^ idk about it blowing in the winter. most people just take their cars into winter mode (go mostly stock) in the winter.

i live in Cali so dont gotta worry about that. we could stay slammed all year long.

welcome to acurazine! function and forms are really the way to go! if you buy the coils new, they will come with a warranty in case something happens. now, im not sure cause i never bought them new.. but it could be a limited warranty.. others will confirm this.

im really interested in seeing how the function and form compares to other brands.. such as the new megan coilovers for the 99-03 tl's. nobody has really installed them on their cars from this forum but it seems like a good product just from pictures but we'll have to get reviews first.

as for as other brands.. there are tein ss, ksports, nex coilovers, and ground control sleeve coilovers (ground control's are a great ride but they don't slam, barely tuck)

the new megans racing ez streets i was talking about

function and form type 1

tein ss (don't slam as much as ff1's, you'd need shorter springs)

nex coils (are shit from what i hear)
