dude you don't need any of that, take a picture of everything that came in the box, there's got to be something other than what is in the picture about. It should have been bread tied to the bulbs.

they sent me this

"Hi Francis,
Thank you for the email.
A pair of D2S adapter wires should have been included with your shipment. These wires would allow for the bulbs to connect up to the ballasts.
I will go ahead and ship out the adapters that should have been included with your order."

the bulbs were not tied to anything. they came in a box with just the bulbs.
1 big box contained 3 smaller boxes:
2x for each ballast
1x for both bulbs (which had no cables whatsoever)

I already said that no wires came with my order, other than the ones sticking out of the ballasts.

plus in the other thread, the guy says we need it...

My bad man I have just never seen where they didn't come with and have never had to order other harnesses, good luck

this is what mine looks like: the ones with connectors go from the ballast to the bulb, and the ones with electrical tape are from the ballast to the stock wiring harness where I spliced it:

this is the connector that goes from the ballast to the stock harness. I cut off the 2 amp connectors just like the ones on the left in the picture above to splice it in

3 Pictures.

Took two days to finish but I got it done.
I Had to splice my OEM harness to the DDM tuning adapters, which as you can see black-to-black & blue-to-red (for driver side)

First test run, for 10 seconds PERFECT!

Finally just adjusted the lights, took forever, but I finally got my Low beams working.

-6000K DDM tuning bulbs
-DDM tuning ballast/inverter
-DDM tuning adapter cables
-TheRetrofitSource amps/igniters

No flickering, and light output is pretty even

Lol. You'll learn quickly that if you wanna roll low, then you gotta roll your fenders or remove the fender lining. It's gonna rub like crazy despite being on stock wheels.

lol yes i did. there are no such thing as no problems when you're slammed. you gotta avoid potholes, go slow on speed bumps and dips, etc. you also are going to experience your UCA (upper control arm) smacking which gets annoying but hey.. something you can't control unless you cut a hole in your stut tower. you're gonna bottom out on freeways (i remember i sparked several times) and if you're low enough (which i doubt you'll be on stockies), you might crack your oil pan.

when i was slammed, i went as low as i could in the fronts. i was rubbing like a mofo whenever i tried making full turns, but the rears i could've gone alot lower but didn't want to cause it looks weird on the 2g's to boat it (reverse rake).

as for fender work, you don't really need any if you're just going to be slammed on stock wheels.. it's pointless imo. the front fenders are almost already rolled (at least for me since i kept rubbing against it). i bent the tabs upwards a bit and i just pulled the front fenders out as much as i could using my two hands and that was enough for me to as low as i wanted to go in the fronts.

I just did normal speeds (65-80) and prayed.

But now I'm not slammed anymore and my life is a lot less stressful

not to brag, but i've been over speeds above 75mph. just be careful on random inclines and declines (ie. the 605 n/s freeway), you will smack your UCA like crazy.

i asked for david aka dstah, was very helpful.
I'm definitely coming back here for alignments and tires, great prices!!!!
WHEEL HOUSE TIRE FTW!!!!!!

Being slammed, FUCKIN AWESOME, it feels sooo goooood, and im driving normal speeds now.
YOLO

Anyways, has anyone ever had an issue where something in the wheel well is like possibly picking at the tire when the car bounces
cuz here's what i'm concerned about. it pretty much has a small trail on both front tires. its not deep, but it worries me cuz i don't wanna pop my tires
yes.... I know they're bald, gonna replace em asap
should i raise the front a lil? wat would u guys recommend if anything?

Find out where its rubbing, then remove the trouble spot, if it can't be removed maybe change tire size or rise it

Depends how much you need to clear, but remember changing tire size throws off the Speedo

i raised the car 1/2" idk wat the problem was, the only thing i suspected was the metal tab that the fender liner hooked up on along the firewall, i banged that in with a hammer just in case.

the car used to be raked very slightly, but is now even f/r

it's most likely the metal tabs sticking out that get in the way when you're making a turn hence the cut tire. shouldn't be anything else that could be cutting it.

and you should go with a lower tire profile for all 4 if you're really looking to slam. original tire size is 215/50/17, go for a 215/45/17.

^yep haha. first thing you should ever do to your car should be to lower it! it's the most expensive next to wheels but hey.. all the little small accessories and mods can fall after coilovers.

speaking of wheels, i just picked up a set of 04-06 tl wheels(always wanted them)..... talk about a big difference lol.

like post#72 says with stock rims I raised the front 1/2 inch and didn't have to angle going up my driveway (had very little clearance tho), with the 3g wheels on i have to angle again lol.

Right now only the fronts have 3g wheels.

Will have pics later on.

gonna look tight when you have all 4 wheels matching. probably gonna have to roll the rears a little to make the 04-06 wheels fit. my homie has the same set up on ff1 and 3g wheels and his rears are rolled slightly. although he is much lower than you. looks good though. ever think of getting oem visors instead of weathertechs?

I read on the 2g tl with 3g wheels thread that i would need to cut bumper tabs.
as for the visors, I'm fine for now, $100 weather tech>$200 oem for visors haha
