Why do you want them to blink faster?

Oh jeez do people do that on purpose? I always thought that was a side effect of the 1/2 watt discolored bulbs behind fogged lenses so people don't actually know you're going to turn.

You are referring to something called "hyper flashing" which is typically something people DON'T want lol. As mentioned above, get LED bulbs and it will hyper flash due to the way the power signal is sent for halogen vs LED bulbs. They make Amber LED bulbs, they also make LED bulbs that are white and will switch to amber when you signal (called LED switchback bulbs).

Every time I see someone hyper flashing i wanna pull next to them and check if it's just a bulb that burned out or they installed LEDs without resistors

A lot of people don't want the hyper blink on the TLs because it kind of tarnishes the classy-ness of the car. But if you really dig the look, it's just as what the other people earlier in the thread mentioned: install LEDs, don't install resistors. Is there anything I can do to try and change your mind on this decision? Just kidding lol have fun!
