Daze05RL, setup looks good. Any pics looking down the dose from the front or rear? I'd like to see how flush the fitment is in the rear. I was under the impression 10 was too wide but it looks about perfect.

Are you lowered at all?

tkosho24v, super clean. I was looking at your car for inspiration when building mine. Too bad you can't find Mugen parts over here. Those flares are nice. =)

You cut H&Rs?!? Those are low to begin with. What would you estimate your drop at?

They are kind of low. The drop for the rear is ok but the front was just too high for my liking. I had a performance shop cut them to make it look even as I was aiming for a 1 finger drop all 4 corners. My buddy has an RL with the stock H&R springs and I wasn't thrilled with the look. He actually suggested cutting it and I read some threads about it. The ride is not as bad as I expected as the spring rate probably didn't change too significantly.

It does rub when I hit a hard bump though.

Thanks bro... funny thing is that I got the inspiration to build my car from viewing another member of this forum and this bunny hopping will go on and on and I am sure that your car will inspire others to follow.

I know what h&r springs are, had them on my legend. Someone was just trying to tell me it was ok to use them on stock (non aspec) struts, pretty sure theyd blow in not no time from bottoming out.

My H&R springs on base (non ASpec) suspension don't bottom out and I've had them a while. Everything rides good and smooth. There are PLENTY of people on this forum that have done the same thing

Interesting..... how much of a drop are you getting and what size wheels are you running? Photos? Also has anyone replaced suspension outside of coilovers? Its pretty sickening that only KYBs are available on a fairly current model..... Im wasnt expecting a lot but only KYB? Makes no sense lol i gotta try and get Koni on the band wagon

It's ironic US modders turn Acuras into Hondas and Japanese modders turn Hondas into Acuras. Cars look nice.

Same rims as before, just a 3 stage powder coat. Silver, then gloss black, then clear coat

I guess I'll throw mine up here, even though it's not lowered yet.

Zedd SLM
Fronts are 19x8.5 et35, 8mm spacer, et27 final offset.
Rears are 19x9.5 et30.
245/40/19 all around.

Probably going to a 6.5mm front spacer to bring them in a bit more, and maybe a narrower tire...not sure yet. Depends on how low it ends up.

You should really match your tire diameters all around. You can burn up your transfer case otherwise.

There is an old rule of thumb for wheel with a lip. No lip: OEM + 2". With lip: OEM + 3". The lip (especially on that style wheel) creates an illusion that the wheel is smaller. Couple in the stock suspension, and they look small.
