Question about OEM wheel locks

Hey guys,
I am currently in need for some wheel locks (complete not just the key) and am looking at my options. Going by part number....08W42-SJA-200 is the one that corresponds to an 05 RL. My question is if I can use just any OEM wheel lock and put it on my 05 RL? Will it fit? For example 08W42-S6M-201? I am having a hard time finding the 08W42-SJA-200 online for a reasonable price and all the other ones are much cheaper. Closest dealer is almost a 2 hour drive so I would much rather order online. Thanks in advance for your input and help. Open to other options as well if you guys recommend it. Have original rims on the car btw.

No. It has to be for the 2005 RL.

With wheel locks, you really don't want to interchange the lug nuts or locks. How they seat on the wheel is important to the functionality of the nuts/locks:

Your RL wheels have a 5X120 bolt pattern, along with 4G TL and several others, which use Part No. 08W42-SJA-200, and Part No. 08W42-S6M-201 fits 5X114 bolt patterns, so that's why it won't fit on your car.

The ones you need sell for $63 here and Part No. 08W42-S6M-201 sells for $42 here so I can see why you would like to be able to use the cheaper set.

Agreed. The seating is the only thing I would be concerned about. The CMBS RL with PAX (started in 2006) had different lug nuts than the other trims. As long as you get '05-'08 non-CMBS RL nuts, you should be fine.

On the same note about wheel locks, last time I had my wheels rotated, the shop didn't put back the key lock. Now what do I do? I will check with them tomorrow but I seriously doubt they will have it. It is no where in the car, so that is the most logical place to start.

There is a way for them to remove it without the key if I remember correctly.
