EUDM - LEGEND and USDM RL Tyre Size Difference

Hi,

Time to replace my wheels. In Europe Legend's run on 235-50-17s but as I know 245-50-17 for RL's.
That increases diameter about %1.5 if I change to 245-50-17.

Are there any transmission or else differences between Legend and RL? If not, is it okay to prefer 245?

Thanking in advance.

Türk

As long as all 4 tires are the same, you won't have any issue.

Even for acceleration and MPG?

Thank you for your comment...

Acceleration won't be affected. Actual MPG won't change either, but the car's calculations will be based on a slightly different tire diameter. Still, I am willing to bet this difference is so small that it is within the margin of error of the sensors. I always found my RL MPG calculations to be about 1 MPG higher than reality.
