Nice to see more bagged setups. ive been thinking about it but rather just stick to static setup. if i could ever find a deal on some Tein's id jump all over it. Did you happen to change out your shields on the headlights so that they are aimed properly?

I have met Chitown several times at Chicago shows i attend and always got a shady vibe from him. i offered to help him install his lip correctly as he just had it double sided taped on and it was hanging half way off and looked horrible. he got really defensive and started running his mouth and brought his crew around me to try and intimidate me. Just best not to associate with him at all.

I didnt change out the shields on my headlights. I'm "that jerk" for now.

So I ordered new front struts today, sent the manufacturer my specs and they should be shipping in a couple of days. In the mean time, I just keep airing up my passenger side ever so often.

Its crazy that after I posted this other members are coming forward and speaking on "Chitowns" shadiness. What sucks most is that I was straight up with him. It's whatever. F' it.

StReCh4130, so does the system actually work? Call me a dork, I'd just love to see a video of it raising and lowering. I'd never bag my car personally but I'm intrigued.

The system does work. I dont have a video currently, but my friends do. I'll have one of them send me a vid and I will post tomorrow. It's actually pretty cool, and even more so when unsuspecting people are blown away by how low the car sits and I raise it all the way up to drive it around. When I am completely aired up the car looks stock and rides at its best.

Yeah, it really does suck. I'm not currently dealing with AirTekk for suspension, but I'm very interested in seeing what they come up with.I got my stuff through someone else.

So here's an update. My car has been parked for the last month or so.

I ordered new front struts to replace the leaky ones I receive from RLChi-town. I ordered them from airbagit.com, and they no longer make the ones I had on the car. It took about two weeks to get the set they sent (a few days to make and test them, and a week to ship from Arizona to me). I received them and they didn't work. The new fronts didn't raise the car at all. After a week or so of going back and forth with measurements and inquiries, they finally told me to return my old ones and they rebuilt them. On one side it cost me a little less, on the other my car's been down for quite a few weeks... Sucks.

A couple of trips back and forth from my local tire shop, a few used tires tested for good measure and I finally made a decision on tires and they fit to "my liking".
Keywords: MY LIKING. Want to make that clear before the RL-Patrol come round.

These front struts cant come in soon enough!

Front struts should be in Monday 5/12, and they are suppose to solve my problem (fingers crossed)

BTW, I'm waving hi, and thank you to RL-ChiTown with my middle finger!

So my front struts came in and are installed. Feels great to be driving the car again.

I went ahead and put the wheels on as well and the car looks great.

Buy a bottle of Blue Magic Headlight Lens Sealer and apply it every other car wash. It will keep the headlights looking brand new and will prevent the sun from damaging them. Carbon Legend recommended it to me and I think the product is perfect.

I'm going for a step lip for my next set of wheels

I had picked up a second set of brakes from a local shop and sent them to get powder coated. Got them back from paint, and they are re-packed. Waiting to install them and order more stuff. Possibly working on exhaust for the next big mod.

Also sorry to hear about your situation with chi bag. It's very unfortunate members didn't come up and say their experience with him.

Sorry about the crap you've had to deal with. I hate Mitches like that!

I love the way it turned out. My big problem for the longest time was figuring out wheels. I've heard from a lot of haters and ney sayers, but to each their own. My 645i set will do the job for now but I'm already on the prowl for something unique. Did you have do do any fender work? I'm researching bagged setups now, hoping Airtekk has something. I'm going to PM you.

Looks awesome! I'm a pretty big fan of those wheels too.

Could you post some pictures of it raised up too? maybe a video? and of the controller if you could.

I'm glad I started coming around as bags are starting to get more coverage on this car.
