When I save up the money for them. Hopefully by the summer time. Unless I decide to spend it on other mods. Right now I want to buy Jose3031's 5zigen exhaust.

I'm telling you, I know you will like these new Inspyre Type II wheels on the RL, 20" x 9.0" with a slight concave and BBK clearance...

Thanks for taking the time to do this Ron. I am undecided if I want that exact design. But it's still much better than stock. Is it possible to to have the raven back section of the barrel machined like the spokes?

I can have my custom finishing guy strip the wheel and brush the while thing then shoot powder clear over it. Maybe a tinted pearl clear for a nice effect in the sunlight.

This is the perfect example why one mod always leads to another. After I installed the Mugen kit I needed to upgrade the exhaust to fit the rear lip. Now I'm on a search for Recaro seats to hold me down for all this additional horsepower...

Where did you order the exhaust from? Mind sharing what you paid for it? I hope you're kidding about the Recaro seats btw. Modding an RL reaches a certain point where you've gone too far IMO. Once you start removing creature comforts like that...you could've spent a lot less money on a much higher performance car if you're not concerned with the luxury amenities provided by a flagship car like the RL.

Never mind. Just saw the red text.

Still interested in from where and for much you sourced the exhaust.

I bought the exhaust through this site!

I've never seen anyone with a white RL that kept them chrome. I would have tried that first but I bought my kit used and it was already painted black. I thought about painting part of my front grille black but I might keep it stock to keep the luxury look on the front end.

It's crazy I know! But it should have decent resale value years down the road. I'm maxing out my credit card. I just bought a new set of jdm headlights.

Man... you're in NY, so when I get my parts and wheels situated we need to link up. You're the reason I'm a day late and a dollar short on parts. YOU KEEP BUYING THEM, lol.

I had my eye on the the exhaust and was going to pull the trigger but decided to go a different route and got a deal on some JDM headlights. That exhaust is boss though, it sounds amazing. Good stuff.

I hope to pick up a Mugen kit for next year, if all goes as planned.

I wanted this car since following Touge's RL back in '07 . I bought my RL September '13, I did not think it would happen this quickly but everything has been falling into place. I would rather get the rare, hard to find, or discontinued items first. It now looks like I will buy a set of aftermarket wheels next year.

My JDM headlights have the USDM projectors and TSX-R lenses. I will install them along with the cat-back exhaust, jpipe, and hi flow cats in a few weeks when this horrible winter season is over.

I dont blame you on getting the expensive and rare stuff early on, you really lucked out on the opportunities. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you do with this beauty.

Here is a teaser of what is being installed now...

Along with JDM headlights, Morimoto 3000k fog lights and I am also vinyl wrapping the fog light grill. I'm leaving the front grill stock.

The RL is a great car and I'm happy with everything I have done to it so far

Last week I picked up a used set of Vossen wheels with tires. The rear wheels are way more aggressive than my taste but I plan to wear out what is left of the tires then flip them after this season.

Why are you selling the Vossens? Popularity? Please snap and post a decent number of shots while they are on. I definitely like the look.

You have seen these wheels already on -x-'s silver Mugen. I bought his kit, suspension, and wheels/tires. My plan is to wear out the rest of the tires then sell the wheels. The 10.5" wide rear wheels are too aggressive for my daily driving. Even though they look good, I want to buy a set that have more of a luxury look to them.

MSW, what is the rear width, offset and tire size? Are the Tein's on the lowest setting in those pictures? Any rubbing? Did you have to roll fenders?

20x10.5 42mm. Off the top of my head I think the tire size is 285/30/20. The rear suspension is lowered all the way, the front is slightly higher. The rear fenders are rolled but still rub over bumps with weight in the back. If the front was all the way down the wheels would slightly rub into the fender liner over time.

Car looks beautiful! Love the vossens as well, probably going to look into eventually getting a set. I'm sure its not the same but how would you compare the stock ride vs being on lowest setting with the coilovers?

stock ride vs coilovers on lowest setting

The road noise is quiet when lowered, much more than any other lowered car I've been in. But just as anyone would expect, the ride is much more stiff. You can feel the road a lot more. With stock tires it is not bad. With my tiny rubber band tires it is much worse.

The Tein comfort sport can not give an aggressive drop. But my RL with the Mugen kit and comfort sport is closer to the ground than my old CL with a Ronjon bodykit and Tein SuperStreet lowered all the way down. I am having a tougher time avoiding scraping.

I only have about an inch of clearance getting into my driveway
