Wink JDM Headlights Installed!

Just installed my new stock Honda Legend Headlights from Japan! Finally got rid of those ugly amber corners. Here are some pic's of the install.

Did you swap around the projector so it doesn't blind oncoming traffic with the wrong cut off pattern? Also, what did you do about the blinker bulb not fitting?

I honestly have no issue with the amber corners. Then again, my car is blue, so it fits aesthetically... Potato, potaaato, though right?

To me, the amber color draws your eyes to the corners of the car. Without them, the front end appears wider. And it now draws more attention to one of the most luxury looking front grille Acura has ever made.

Yeah..... the blinker bulb housing was an welcomed surprise Needed to cut the blinker housings off each headlight and swap them. I didn't switch the projectors though, I feel I just need to raise them a little since they seem to aim lower than normal.

To each his own, I personally really dig the clear corners. It makes the car look a lot cleaner IMO. The amber corners pop out at you too much, the clear ones blend in with the headlights. Any more future mods?

I think it looks really really good. Not sure I would spend the money replacing mine if I had an RL, but your oem headlights looked a little on the faded side so I think it was worthwhile. I really like the little LED or white lights in the corners where the ambers were.

Are the new projectors RHD? If the cut off looks like the right side of the pic then there's a possibility of blinding oncoming traffic.

Yes they are. That's why I asked that question. He said he would "raise them" in post #7, but I'm hoping he will lower them so it doesn't blind oncoming traffic. That's the problem with purchasing these, as they will be higher to all oncoming traffic ALWAYS... The projectors need to switched so it's like your pic...

Yes, I am starting to notice it more as I drive. I'll need to switch the projectors to make it normal again.

After installing these new headlights in my car and swapping out the front signal plugs and sockets I come to find out that one the plugs doesn't work.. I checked to see if power goes through the wires (Which it does), but when I check it from the other end (part that goes into the bulb socket) theres no power. So something is is wrong with the plug. Is it possible to directly connect the bulb socket to the wires?

I already went to Honda and Acura dealerships to see if they have a spare part but to no avail.

I believe the wires in the plug lead directly to a metal prong. Not 100% sure, but I can't imagine it being different. If so then you should be able to wire them directly. I would try fixing the plug first. Probably dirty connector, loose, or bad wires.

Agreed it would be better to fix the socket. It's just wires in one end and metal plates in the other. Somehow they must have disconnected.

I think it depends on the color of the car as well. I think its too striking of a contrast with the WDP but I have them on my CGP and I am not offended at all and they blend well with my burnt orange calipers

I have a question if you are still on here. So you cut the orange bulb connections from the projector side and switched the hosings? And the second question on the blinker side the USDM has one bulb and the JDM has two bulbs. The blinker connection is the same but did you splice the JDM wiring into your USDM wiring so you can plug both of them in?
