In that case change your ground. I used a bold on the driver side in the trunk behind the covering. I'll see if I can take a pic when I go home.

Thanks for the write up. I got mines working. But I got a question. How did you guys run the wires from the trunk lid to trunk floor area. I notice the trunk arm is hollow inside. Do we fish the wires up inside the trunk arm? Right now I just have the wires taped around the trunk arm and up to the trunk lid

I would follow the harness and wires for the license plate bulbs and see which side they pass.

I ended up wiring it up inside the trunk arm. Like op stated you will have to cut the wires. I had a long zip tie lying around so I just taped the wires to it and fished it up.

Interface details;

pin description
---- -------------
1. Power source for rearview camera
2. GND rearview camera
3. GND for video signal
4. Composite video from rearview camera
5. Shield for 1,2,4,5,7
6. Control signal for rearview camera.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
I have RL 06, is there anyone here hook up camera directly to navigation unit using this pin layout? I just need confirmation to do mine. I also wonder what is the order of the pin, does 1 start from left to right and up to down? appreciate any advise.
