Hi all - been a long time lurker and finally purchased an Acura RDX!

Question: Are the buttons on the center console (radio, display, setup, AC, defroster, etc) supposed to light up when my headlights are on?

My old Toyota center console lights up. There are lights behind the words so it is easily readable when driving at night.

I thought it was weird that the RDX is completely dark when I am driving at night with headlights on. I have to turn on the map lights to see which buttons do what.

Yeah, something's wrong... Probably a blown fuse... Do all of the other lights work fine?

What year is your RDX?

If it's new or under warranty, bring it into the dealer, to see what they can do... If it is new, make them fix it!!!

....check the dimmer switch to make sure it isn't turned all the way down.

Thanks all. It was the most obvious answer. Dimmer switch on the right side of the instrument panel. I should have read the owners manual.
