Thumbs up Best DIY parts prices...

I've shopped them all. Try and beat these prices. My first order is below....

Splash Guards...................................... $93.15
Applique, RR Bumper..............................$56.35
Wheel Lock Set.......................................$36.80
Touch Up paint (White Diamond Pearl)........$13.32

After a thorough and exhaustive search I found "DCH Automotive Parts" to be the cheapest on line Acura dealer. I am not affiliated with them in any shape or form. I'm just a poor RDX owner trying to beat the stealer dealer's prices... I'm sharing my new source with my Acura brothers & sisters.

Most things at our dealer are overpriced, but I think we bought touch-up paint for our 2013 RDX from them for less than $10 (though I don't have the receipt in front of me). Maybe it was over $10, but still not too different from your price of $13.

On the other hand, I could not believe that they charged an "installation fee" for the floor mats and trunk tray!!! We also bought wheel locks and mud flaps. I can see charging an installation fee for the mud flaps, and maybe for the wheel locks, but what is there to install with floor mats and trunk trays?

I should have bought them online, but they had worn me down and I gave in.

All touch up paint colors other than "White diamond pearl' are under $10.

White diamond pearl is a "special" color for special RDX owners.

I just got a refund from my dealer ($92) for the wheel locks that came with my new RDX. I bought the same Acura factory locks for $36.80 from the other (net) dealer and installed them myself.

My sales person asked me what I thought he could do with the now "Used" locks off my RDX. I told him that I would tell him where he could "stick" them if he really wanted me to?

He just walked away.....

Speaking from experience...eventually you'll figure out that you overpaid by exactly $56.35. That applique is virtually impossible to install without it looking terrible. Besides the fact that the surface it is degined to "protect" is only exposed when the tailgate is open. I can live with hidden scratches if need be, but that surface has remained scratch free after two years of ownership anyway.

I bought it, installed it (a torturous process to get it right), hated it, pulled it off, balled it up and threw it in the trash. Haven't had a need for it since. Lesson learned.

They should have included a piece of black rubber on the bumper "top" like on a Lexus RX350. Would have cost them all of $0.50 to manufacter.

Time will tell..... I'll report back. After its delivered. I've read some testimonials on line as to those that have attempted it. Most say its doable but a job. Others say its "a cake walk".

Some people on the net...... "Lie like hell". I would rather put a hard rubber one like my old Lexus has. Not enough room under the gate for it to fit though.

I bought this from JC Whitney. Covers enough and looks good.

Also, the cargo cover (not the tray), has a fold out "tongue" that can slide over the bumper for protection. Works well.

Joebxr, that is what I'd like to get. Did you put it on an RDX rear bumper, are there any clearance problems? It is a tight fit between the bumper and the hatch door. I think if you mounted it close to the outer edge of the bumper, the swing of the hatch would clear it.

Mounted on 2015 RDX. Placed it close to inside edge of bumper...no clearance issues.

Garmin GPS MOunt

For those without NAV or want to add own GPS unit, here are pics of the ProClip that I have. It's so simple to mount using groove to left of glove box and bottom of vent. Not a cheap solution, but custom made solid product for our RDX's.

The parts above were delivered today. They appear to be legit Honda factory issue with Honda/Acura part #'s. A little longer delivery than I am used to. Amazon has me spoiled.

They came from Acura dealer in CA. I am in FL.... A long haul for FedEx..... But priced lower than the rest..... A Fair Dinkum deal.

How can I find a list of your discounted accessories. Specifically, price on cargo tray, and cargo cover for 2015 rdx tech package. Didn't find pricing on your Acura website. Thank you!

CARGO COVER part no?

I just took delivery of a 16 RDX ADV Graphite/Greystone interior. Does the Cargo Cover come in Greystone or do I have to get Black? I can't seem to find the part number in greystone for the Adv.

I read that some people have tried Bernardi's in Boston. The comments were: Prices were really low but shipping by ups was expensive. Has anyone had any long term experiences they can share? When prices are really low the first thing I think of is Chinese knock off parts which can be of low quality.

I've ordered from Bernardi in the past largely because they're in the northeast region and the shipping isn't as bad since they're local. They have lower prices since they're high volume - and they ship the same products as any Honda/Acura dealer does. The game you play with any online OEM parts/accessory dealer is the actual price - parts plus shipping. and it depends on the size of the part as well - so you need to price-shop each time you want something - if you want to get the lowest price....
