Hi Everyone, I have a question about my RDX 2013 AWD transmission Fluid.I did some search which I found out two brands of transmission fluid seems reliable and fit for the car, but I dont know which one is better or any other suggest.
One is AMSOIL Signature Series Fuel-Efficient Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid:

The other is Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF

The Price is $160 vs $120 (case of 12). I would like to do is 3X3 flush.
I would like to hear your advise and suggestion. I am not very familiar with fluid.

I would stick with OEM...if you are not very familiar with fluid, why deviate away from stock??

Hi Justnspace,
Thank you very much for your answer!!! It is very hard to find OME in the market.. I ask Acura Dealer, they only do drain/fill without flushing. So I would go to somewhere else which is also transmission professional and they doesnt offer the OME fluid but the replacement. That is why I post the questions which I can tell them which they should order and change into my car.

here's the thing. when flushing, you dont need to do the 3x3...
flushing involves a pump that removes ALL of the fluid at one time.

the dealer has the correct idea of draining and filling 3x3.
the automatic has clutch packs that HOLD fluid when you remove the bolt...
so, in order to remove the ALL of the old fluid, you will need to do 3x3 drain and fill.

In My Honest Opinion, I would go to the dealer and get the drain and fill.
you are risking your transmission if you do a FLUSH

Thank you for your adviser. But Acura dealer only do is single drain and fill not 3X3..If I insist, they will charge me more about $270. I think I could ask the outsider do 3X3 instead of flush which is more cheaper. $80 for labor fee and about $90 for case of 12 Acura Fluid.
So what do you think?
I'm very appreciate your help!

By the way the store is AAMCO which is national-wise company. It is reliable or you insist to go to the Acura Dealer.

I found that the Honda dealer charged more than a dollar per liter less than the Acura dealer, for the same ATF fluid.
