I was driving home from work in my '033.2cl(s) and it would not shift from 2nd to 3rd. Had it towed to Phil Smith Acura in Pompano Fl. and told it was only a $300 switch. Then right before I was to pick it up they called and said the "t" word. I am so glad I read all about it (thanks to you guys) and said now what. Love the car and don't want to get anything else. It has 90K miles. They took it to the district manager and they paid 75%. I accepted that (why not ). Loaned me a car all week. I do believe the transmissions were a problem but they said mine wasn't on the recall list. I checked your site and it looks like I missed it by a few numbers. Nevertheless, I got 3 years/36 K miles warranty. It drives great

I've had this happen to me...
2nd wouldn't go to third, I got nervous so i let go of the gas, braked a little, and shifted to neutral then back to D.

Then everything was fine...
