Need information on wheel fitment
I'm wanting to buy a set of STR 607's for my 01 CL, I'm wanting 18x8.5 and want to know if they will work..can't really find anything on the Internet so I was just going to see with some of yall experience with these cars what the best options are. Thanks

you'll need to roll your rear fenders and cut the bumper tabs there. Run some negative camber and probably a very mild tire stretch.
i'm running 18x8+35 with a full tire and i rub in the rear on big dips with rolled rear fenders. i have an ingalls rear camber kit waiting to go on that will solve the rubbing.

No rims have no lip, but to my earlier statement about the offset they are not +35 they are +30 but no matter I'm going to roll my fenders regardless. Now I do have another question...What type of suspension are you guys running?

Don't mean to barge in on this conversation but for our cars (2003 CLS) the higher the offset the better? I'm looking at 18x 8 also running 235/40/18 tires. My car is dropped via tanabe nf210 springs and eibach pro dampers. Thanks.
