yeah there is a very good chance that it will, cause aren't the 99 tl manifolds the same as the 1st gen cl's,

and the newer manifolds fit on the 99's, so it should work
, but having enough hood clearence might be a whole other can of worms

will the stock unmodified hood close if you had the 09 TL manifold and mdx spacer?
How much room would the 09 tl manifold give you?

The spacer fits under hood with clp intake.
The hood is not raised at all.

ok. got some measurements
09 tl sh awd intake manifold comes in at 4" tall
2nd gen tl-s/cl-s intake manifold comes in at 4 5/8" tall.

so u might be able to get away with the 09 tl manifold and not raise the hood. i know that the tl-p/cl-p owners can add the spacer and not have to worry about changing anything else.

3/4" spacers are in. now i got about 3/4" - 1/2" of room between the hood and intake manifold

i need 6spacer but only made 4. i used washers for the other two studs. over all im loving it.

not sure what ur trying to say, but u put the p2r gasket between the runners and spacer and then either another p2r gasket between the spacer and intake manifold or u can use the oem one between the spacer and intake manifold

Youll need to mill it down for the hood to shut. Not sure of gains, I had planned to run one, but even after milling it down (in half no less) it still hit my hood due to the plenum spacers (which are proven to make power).

Not P2R. They make a nice part in the plenums, but it isnt the only option. There are plenum spacers that Paul makes that do the exact same thing the P2R larger plenums do but at a fraction of the cost.

Im not saying that the P2R plenums are overpriced - they arent. For the machine time and materials, the price is about right. But IMVHO, you get them if you dont like money and prefer bling compared to function over form.

IIRC they showed ~7whp on the dyno from another member. This is on built motors though with other supporting mods.
