TRUST WHEN I TELL YOU THE FIC IS THE DAM WAY TO GO. My frens on .com turned me on to it. We all was on that greddy EMU. But now I have the FIC and man I tell you its great. Everywhere I go it was a prob to tune the Greddy, they say its alot of work. I still have my Brand new EMU sitting in the house BTW its for sale. That thing was almost 700 I will have a big lost but Idont care I have no use for it. And boomslang made a P+P harness for me and it was great.

Which part number did you go with? And are you Auto/or 6speed? I have an boomslang harness made just for an auto 01 CLS for an F/IC6 i think the model number I went with is the 30-1910. I have not bought the AEM f/ic yet and was wondering if your boomslang and F/ic was a PNP like bloomslang claims. (jproy) was having massive timing issues with the f/ic, you did not expierence any of that? And what exactly are you selling for 700?

Does anyone know if the AEM FIC gets auto corrected by our engine's ECU? My emanage blue used to get auto corrected as I drove. I had to keep pulling my battery over and over to get it to operate properly with the emanage blue.

If Trinny would give some more info on the AEM F/IC it would not be that bad.

Aem f/ic

I know I have been talking about this forever, but the guy working on my car said he was starting this week. I have two custom made wireharnesses made to test out for the aem f/ic. One from Don at rpm systems in NY and Paul who is a member on here. The first wireharness I had boomslang make up did not work, so I hope atleast one of these work. I will let ya know if it works out.

The clips for the injectors came in and now I just received an email two hours ago. The guy is working on getting a appointment for a new viper alarm system installed since the old one was making a battery draw that I could not find out. The draw killed two optima red tops so it needs to be fixed before any tuning gets done. The reason this is going so slow is because I made an agreement with this guy to just work on it on the side, to save money.

has anyone been able to get the emanage blue to not correct itself? or is AEM the only way to go?

Generally the EMB is fine idk why rtatsutani had a problem with it. If you have the Boomslang harness you should be okay since you have a 6-Speed. I guess there were some problems with the auto harnesses. . .it doesn't look like his car was 6MT.

How much does a custom turbo run you ? I'm good on a blower for a extra 50-60 hp for 4-5k
420hp that's very impressive.
I'm guessing you dropped maybe 6-7grand ?

It was a VERY hot day today... 106 in the valley and 86 at the dyno. I wanted to run
0 timing retard, so I put 50% Motorsport 103 gas and I assume final octane value is around 93-94 octane. It did not ping at 6.1 psi. Exhaust was open as I wanted to see what
this car would put down.

Next step is the extra 750cc injector and ~8-9psi - I am hoping for 460whp. Aso, I only
took it to 6800 RPM... could have taken it higher.

I am now certain that with a 70mph head-wind and 70C temps, the car is putting down
just about 500hp at the crank.

I am just plain stoked!!!

Anybody want to host the dyno plot?!? The plot is a comparison between the old kit and the new one.
what are you tunning with and who made your manifolds if you dont mind telling
