as far as durability , no idea how long it would actually last, let alone the torsional ridgidity would not be so good (not so bad with the length of our shafts because it only has to go 3 cylinders, but something like an inline 6 gl with that lol)

^ That's pretty bad ass! See in the graph they are adjusting the overlap. I imagine that could be very benificial in a turbo set up! If you had some way of contraoling that you could have a pretty chopy idle when wanted. I'd love to have that kind of control!

also i did coolant bypass mod as for thermo spacer it seems to be working very well... after a 30 min spirit drive it was pretty cool

the throtle response is crazy now... the car felt sluggish for last couple of weeks now its like day n night it sounds great car beg you to floor it vtec sounds incredible i missed it.
mine was way worse than yours. plus i wasnt able to polish anything, the scraping and cleaning alone took me 2 hours...
good job btw

CANT WAIT TO SEE YOUR NEW DYNO.
Mine will be up soon so i can see where im at as well.
Did you dyno in 4th or 5th? 5th is actually closer to the 1:1 ratio we need for best results

Same dyno same tunner 85 deg instead of last 55, ported IM and runners installed. Car running ok but pulled 235whp which is 12 less than last time. I did like only 15-20 miles after install and it might be not enough for ecu to reset. Also i forgot to put horns on IM i think also thermo gasket didnt look ok(kinda melted). Gonna tweak these things and do 2.5" and wait for colder weather to go again on dyno.

I'm disapointed because i was working yesterday till 1am to see some gains but well what u gonna do. Hopefully i will get it to run the way its suppose to

You left the intake velocity stacks out? Thats why youre down on power. Also, just pull the #13 fuse in the pass side fuse box next time to reset the ECU without losing your radio presets. Then go beat the piss out of the car for a few miles to give it a decent recalibration.

yeah i noticed it after i put everything back together and it was kinda late to take it apart again so no i didnt but tomorrow will try that again... how many miles should be fine for ECU ?

miles...... it could take 1000 miles at times, especially depending on the type of driving you do, and what sort of loads the engine would see on a regular basis

but even on a short test drive of only like 10 miles, most ecus will have learned the engine pretty well, and it's mainly fine tuning from there, but you would more then like be alright with 50-100 miles (with a couple of cold starts thrown in there too; ie: over a couple of days)

^ Yea, about 100 miles is good enough for the ECU to pull all the info it needs to relearn. Thats why I usually wait a week after installing mods to let the ECU recalibrate, even though I usually put 100 miles on the car in a day.

The direct fit cats from Magnaflow wont be high flow. I dont remember what model I got. I do remember that its a spun cat, high flow, and universal.
