just dyno'd my 01 CL-S

its auto w/ 160k+ miles on it.

Mods:

K&N Filter
XS headers
(not sure when the last tune up was done)

Peak HP: 213
Peak Toruqe: Unknown, because it wasn't hooked up. (any idea what it might be?)

also, the guy mentioned that a stock CL-S auto made arond 180 on the same dyno.

I was expecting around 220, but guess thats not too bad.

Blue run was in 3rd gear and it produced 213
Red run was in 4th gear and it produced 197 (the guy thought he was in 3rd)

What does wrapping the headers do?

I just picked up a set of Comptech Headers and haven't really seen people wrapping them.

Any benefit?

mine are xs headers.

I wrapped up the down pipe because of people complaining about the bad flex pipe, leaking air through.

right now, i dont have any noise coming from the headers what so ever.

it actually does a few things...keeps heat away from the engine and engine bay...it also holds in heat in the header and exhaust and improving the Exhaust flow
