If you've done it on a B-series then it shouldn't be to hard. The hard part is getting the knack for it and making sure they don't tick anymore without making them too tight. It seems like you have some practice, so you can probably do it in 3 hours. Especially if you've taken the IM off before.

sorry guys been away for a while ,was having personal issues, what i have is Megan Racing Headers , 3" Stainless Steel Exhaust , Vibrant 3" Stealth Black Muffler, No Cat , No Resonator,

Update:
I found the roller rocker in my oil pan..lol
i had to change the oil pan because my GF bottemed out she cracked and bent the the oil pan and the header, i have pics of it i will post it up when i can , right now im not at home..lol

i have been making and intake manifold for these last couple of weeks for the setup, im also going with a 80mm TB and making an intake arm with a Velosity Stack, im also gona buy another header because mine is all crushed and bent, due to the car being low, hopefully it is all done this week so i can dyno again, i wana still hit the track this year before it SNOWS!!!

i will keep u guys updated

bring back a thread from the dead..lol well whats next is another clutch.... got burnt.. stage 3 Spec... does anyone know what other clutches are out their???
well the car has been sitting since Oct-Nov...

ok so here is the story .. i went to the track with a buddy to give him some tips and i all of a sudden decided to take the car down the track...lol
the car's first pass was a 13.5@112 then i did a few more passes and it kinda felt like the car was out of power...at the end of the day i did a 13.3@110, keep in mind i raced the car the way it is with 17's and full leather interior with a BBQ in the trunk...lol.. ok now so i went home a bit dissapointed. on the way home i was like their is somthing wrong so i was like im going back to the dyno. 2 days later i went to the dyno and the car was only making 222whp...i was like WTF ..so we checked the Data Log and i was not getting enough fuel!!!! i was like S**t , i could of blowen my motor , the motor was leaning out , so we re tunned it and maxed out the injectors@ 5900rpm's making 247whp.. so right after that im like the fuel pump is giving up so i ordered a new 1 and installed it. Now i have too much fuel..lol.. so soon i will be going to the dyno again.. right after i get another clutch

the traps are good for 12's , must not be getting any traction... to be honest i guess i expected just alittle more like 114-115 ,we shall see how it all plays out once you get it running juast right , good luck

3.5L v6 in a TSX. but i'd venture a guess that the mounting points would not be correct so maybe not so easy.

Great, what gets me is how u make so much power NA with the same engine without any additional work. U said all u had was just headers ??
267whp is gotta to be like 290+ at the crank. thought our cars only made 262 at the crank ( in stock frm) ~230 to the wheels if MT.

guys have headers, intake and pulleys sometimes dnt even make that much on the same engine? what gives ???

Good job though, but whtz the secret ???

there is no secret, its all about tunning, when i post up my graph u will understand how tunning it more fixed it and made more power, what i have is a full standalone that i can tune every 100 rpm.

How did I miss this? Amazing!!!!!! What did the stand alone set you back. I have the 6MT CLS also and love it. I am about to do some crazy work to the motor, not that I havent already.

I dont know if this has been discussed on here, but i think i've figured out part of the reason why the engine in this civic produces more hp than a stock CL-S. In most cars if you take the power steering pump out it usually "frees up" a good amount of hp because the crank pulley doesnt have to do as much work running the power steering.

Nah nothing noticeable, ran with and without it, just took the belt off.

It could be the fact that its using a stand alone ECU, and I don't think its way more power (peak power) although it does show better torque number in the low and mid-range.

well, his peak hp = 267 whp = abt 290 at the crank
he also has a huge tq jump, so i will say yes the standalone ECU and the lack of accessories makes a diff. I am pretty sure.
who knows maybe tunning our cars could net similar with a 3 inch catback sys and headers, intake.
so he is making 15 - 20 more hp than huys with similar mods.
if u c hw much guys with H, I , P and exhaust put dwn u will see wht i am saying.

i thut the factory clutch could handle more than 300hp. maybe NOT.
i know alot of guys tried clutchmasters , dxd and some went bck to the factory clutch.

usually on avarage u loose 15-17% from the crank to the wheel... lets just say 15% as an example...267x.15 = 40.05 so 40.05 crank hp was lost to the wheel..so 267+40.05 = 307.05 to the crank..lol i hope i explained this right?.. or if it makes sense to u guys

Also, 6spd has less power loss from crank to wheels (about 15% compared to 22ish%)

You're well over 300 bhp if you're putting down 267 at the wheels

nice work. looks like you have the ability to control timing and that will produce good power. let's see some 12's
