Pretty cool looking, I think hes loosing too much torque at 6800, mine never dips below 200lb-ft of torque up to 7000rpm, it gets close however.

Are you using a straight pipe?
edit: Just realized this is a dyno dynamics dyno too, don't these underate compared to dynojets?

Is your IMRC valve working? I can't see the actuator. It seems like your torque jumps at 3800rpm like its supposed to but afterwards dies a little.

I think if it is a hub dyno, they underestimate slightly as compared to the rolling inertia or whatever you want to call it. I dynoed 200whp stock on a rolling dyno and only 212whp with headers on a hub dyno. What sort of fabrication did that take as far as engine mounts? CLS 6MT tranny right? More pics and info?

what kind of transmission do you have mated up to it? it looks like the 6 spd from the picture.

without opening it up i have little to no clue if that is an actual type S motor, but that is def not the type s intake manifold, so i have no idea how you are producing 255whp and 240 tq.

what kind of engine management are you using?

From owning a 6 speed and knowing what it looks like, that is the 6mt tranny ... as far as original... Damn man, thats amazing. how much room does it have to move around? doesnt look like a lot at all.

And do you have your IMRC hooked up or not? Its not in the picture thus the question...

Amazing

you can clearly see there is no IMRC as the intake manifold cover is not indented for the flap, why go through all that trouble and not put in a type S intake manifold?

Its a show car ... and its unique ... who cares if its not everyone's idea of the perfect swap? I still want to hear more about it ... show some support.

a lot of people asked about it, so i gave an answer. but now i'm looking at the pictures on my monitor (higher contrast) and not laptop, and i can see the raise in the lid so i would think it IS a type S manifold, just hard to see if an IMRC is actually hooked up.

i'm more interested to see what he is using for engine management.

Thumbs up

I've seen your thread over at hondatech for some time now. Nice job, It's always good to see someone make a swap like this with the ja32. As for the questions on imrc, it looks like it's there, look at the pics on this thread http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1741656&page=16

I noticed that your using the http://www.dtafast.co.uk/P8_PRO.htm P8 Pro. How did you get around the 4 triggers on the cam gear? That's been a driving question for a period of time on this board. Any input would be benificial.

Thumbs up to you!

update:

was gona go to the track this weekend , so i decided to do a valve adjustment because the motor was ticking since i started the car, turns out that the roller rocker on cyl4 was missing (broke), due to that it also wore out the cam lobe wher the roller roles, basicly i need a CAM and a Roller Rocker with Arm, so Back To the DYNO i go, maybe more power

expect an update by the end of the week , i will be posting pics on Monday of the broken Roller and Wore out Cam

I am concerned as well about a valve adjustment in my CLs with 102k, I have been told in the past that the Cls has "self adjusting valves", although I am not sure if I completely trust this statement.

I was going to reply to his comment earlier but i'll just say that Honda feels that it won't need adjustment for that long because of the roller followers lower amounts of friction. I had to adjust mine at 6X,000 miles because they were ticking.

Basically adjust them as needed
