I can't quite make my mind up on those Mugens.
They do look lovely, but there's something about them that I don't quite gel with.
I wonder if it's the straight multi-spoke that smacks a little of Audi/VW.
Maybe it's just me.

It's not just you.... I get the same feeling. May be it's just the polish finish on them?

Hmmm.....maybe, but then you'd have thought it would've been a good match with the chrome accents on the side widows, bonnet, and the handles.
Perhaps seeing them in the flesh makes all the difference - who knows?

I am new to the forum and it has been very helpful, but I have a wheel/tire question. After looking through all the wheel posts no one seems to have a staggered wheel setup on their TSX. I am interested in doing this since I saw a TSX in the MRR wheels gallery with staggered wheels. After talking to someone at MRR I was told they were 19x8.5 45offset front and 19x9.5 45offset rear he did not know what tire size it had. Would this combo work with 235/35-19 front and 265/30-19 rear, since a 265/30 tire is real close to the 25.5" OEM tire size? Will a 265 fit on a 9.5 rim? Is this a bad idea with a front wheel drive car? mrrwheels.com to take a look.

Given the car is not RWD, but FWD, then I see no particular purpose to doing this.
I also figure Honda/Acura's R&D guys tried it and have concluded it serves no distinct advantage other than jacking up costs for the consumer.
So, it comes the way it comes, even with the 17" and 18" optionals.

I could be wrong, but I just don't see a logical reason for it.
But you could always be the guinea pig and report back to us on what problems (if any of course) that you encountered.

OK, forget the staggered idea. I am having a hard time finding a wheel I like in a 19x8 so will a 19x8.5 45offset work without rubbing issues with TEIN basic lowered around 1.5"

Possibly with 8.5 and 45.
It will likely depend on tyre choice - whether it has rim protection or not (adds a few more mm).
I like the RonJon Inspyres - they're available in 7.5 and 8.5 widths, so the 7.5 with 50 would ensure you're well inside the margin.
Either keep on searching for 8's with 40-45 (TL A-Spec being one example of 8/45) or see if you can find a local supplier with a couple of different offset 8.5's in stock who could put them on so you can see/measure the space remaining for tyres.
To keep the speed/odo as accurate as possible, you're going to be using 225 profile tyres - so, if you have a local dealer, ask them to stick a TL wheel on, then measure the clearances and that'll let you do the maths on what width/offset you can go to without it rubbing or sticking out beyond the arch.

Wow, there are some SAH WEET rides. Now I don't know what I want to do, I thought I had a plan. A couple guys early on had a nice agressive spoiler. Not to many I see on the cars. I like it better than the little lip spoiler. I'll have to do some searching to see if it's available. Congrats on all those who's pics are up and thanks you.

Have you seen air suspension before? that's how it sits when it's not in drive.
He won't be driving like that there's a switch where he can set the ride height.
If you've seen Low rider cars it's similiar.

You should be fine with a spec like that. You can go as big as 20" with a 2 inch drop and not have a problem. You just HAVE to go with 20x7's. We ran those on a TSX then moved up to a TL and the 20's look small. You can get 22's on the TL.
