Chorme Wheels

I just thought we needed to add some chorme wheels to the Gallery. I bought these last year and had them on my car for about a month. They look OK but if you try to carry people they rub over bad roads.

These are 19's

First off, these are not the rims I have on my car. I used these rims for one month when I had a blow out. I could not afford to buy tires. A friend of mine gave me these until I could afford a replacement.

In defence of the wheel, it does look very nice. Plus they do make this wheel in a +42 offset. The ones on the pics are a +25 offset. I really need to take pics of my newer wheels.

I think Virtualbong is running that setup, and I don't think he's had any issues at all with rubbing... and his drop is somewhere between 1.6-1.9" (Neuspeed Springs / Neuspeed Koni Shocks).

I was close... I had on 18x7.5 offset 43 rim with 225/40/R18, so acutally that would be more in then your example (though minimally so). I did have issues, although the consensus was that it was the low spring rates of my tanabe coilovers. I also have a pretty good drop, probably a little more then 2" in the back.

not before the 28th of Aug. I moved and now have DSL but the upload is pretty crappy for hosting a server. I'm also running VOIP now, and web hits kinda affect the voice quality so I'm still looking into what to do. I'll be away till then, but hope to have a good solution soon.

I'm running:

Wheel = MSR (American Eagle Wheel) 044 = 18x8 offset +42
Tire = NEXEN N3000 = 235/40ZR18 93Y

My car is not lowered and does not rub. Here are some pics.

Nice!!!!!!!!! Your TSX need to drop, maybe try on Neuspeed sport spring at 1.5F/1.0R. I think it is going to be looking great! Try use measure tape to measure at between the above of the tire and fender and see how many inches left there. U can know how many inches to drop.

I do really like the look of the SSR Competition and GT2 wheels but it doesn't seem like they come in a 17" wheel?

Thank you. It's very helpful too see rims on actual cars.

One suggestion, maybe include suspension info? I'm curious to see the difference b/n stock, A-Spec, Eibach, Tein, etc.

that would be quite a handful as the coilover heights are variable. someone else can start that gallery
