Thumbs up Alignment and corner balancing

After getting my H&R coilovers installed last week by MrHeelToe ( ), I got an alignment and corner balance done. It's a little $, but well worth the money! Maybe it's all psycholigical, but I feel that the car feels more firm and well balanced than before. I recommend it, especially if you have coilovers.

I think it would be tough to have it corner balanced since we're at best going to have a 60-40 split front to rear. do you have a print out of your alignment and corner balance that you can share?

The printout is in the car. I'll post the numbers later when I get it.

Yes, it was done with me in the car. I was actually sitting in the car the entire time while it was done, which I didn't mind at all since I was trying to replicate as close to possible my normal driving conditions so the car's suspension would be tuned accordingly. You could have this done with or without factoring in the driver's weight and other weight during your normal driving habits (i.e. spare tire in or out, etc.). It all depends on what you want out of it.

Yes, you're partially correct. I don't entirely understand the specifics of it so please correct me if I'm wrong, but you're trying to achieve balance corner to corner (hence the term corner balancing, haha) which also involved balance front to rear and left to right.

I found this site that explains corner balancing: http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Performa...nerbalance.htm

I hope that helps.

Back home me and my boy got our old cars corner balanced at Irish Mikes suspension shop in east Orlando. He had a 99 Prelude and I had a 97 Civic hatch. We both agreed that once our ground controls and koni yellows handled nicely, but then we got them corner balanced and it increased the handling and feel of the car immensely. It was totally worth it to us. On a side note maybe we were lowered to much and they corrected it? lol

You need scales to do this correctly. Digital ones are best. Any car can benefit from balanced weight distribution!

I know a guy here that has a set. I gotta tell you I don't know if he'd lend them to me. Those things cost a GRIP of cash!
