I think with a little bit of launch control the TSX would be nuts even if the V-Tech turned on a bit earlier it would benefit the performance. Im pretty sure Acura build the TSX more for family enjoyment and sport driving [cornering and such] oppose to being drag raced. .. thats my opinion anyway.

Not to mention every single thing about the car is designed pretty much the opposite of what you'd want for a drag car, not the least of which is lack of any bottom end torque. I'd say drag racing was about as much of a consideration as was driving underwater when they built the thing.

I dont see any luxury sedan being a drag car.. the RSX wasnt made to drag either but many are running 12's or better.. just because the car wasnt intended to be a dragster doesnt mean you cant go out and race it.. To me its just all about having fun.. and racing is sometimes alot of fun. Just have fun with your cars..

Uh, still any scion is a piece of crap compared to a tsx. it's like comparing a geo (granted, a quick one) to a tsx. IMO speed doesn't count that much, and if it did I'd get an '02 M3 and smoke all but 5% of the cars on the road.

Wanna know the first thing i did with MY TSX?
I drove it to work... worked for 8 bloody hours with 1 hour for lunch. and made some freakin money. drove home, ate a delicious dinner, and slept.

My car can keep up with every car on the free way as long as they are going the speed limit.

and i must say.. i'm pretty damn cool.
