TSX vs Civic
So, I'm cruising home from school on I-95 going around my average speed (75 -80mph) and I hear this awful noise.. sounded like a loud weed whacker. I then turn to look through my passenger window and what do I see... A older model red civic with HUGE body kit and a WING that can make him fly... That awful noise was his fart can exhaust... He decided to pace with me and accelerate/slow down to keep speed with me. So being the cool guy I am... I dropped my gears and did nothing LOL... Just kept cruising.. HAHA then this fool decides to fly by me (I guess he was mad I didn't race him) and when I say fly buy me.. I was exaggerating.. he was slow as hell... just wanted to make this funny post because some people are fools trying to race on the highway.. especially with slow ass cars.

I always get a good laugh out of those riced out civics who's drivers think they're race cars. Good to know someone else shares my sense of humor.

I swear I was pulled over, doing 45 kph in a 40, in 3 inches of snow - so, that's like 3 mph over the limit - because the cop thought my 06 TSX was a Civic. It seemed like he realized his mistake, saw my snow tires on alloy rims, and said, "Slow down, and have a nice day," and drove away. I've had the car almost 4 years, and I suspect that officer is not the only one to take the familial resemblance the wrong way, hence [in part] the drastic styling change for the 09 model.
Back to Civics, as nice as it is to lap dive a BMW on the track, it is a wonderful thing to lap TWO M3's in your old, slightly modified Civic (but no wing); sure, the guys in the BMW's had more to lose, and weren't really pushing it, and I know that Shannoville isn't Mosport, where a Civic CAN keep up. But I've also seen some Civics that my stock TSX couldn't touch, and still miss mine; it is very rare that I feel I'm pushing the limits of the TSX, but that was often something I felt I was doing, just driving around town. I think it was Car & Driver that recently said the same kind of thing about the Lotus Elise: the car's reflexes are so sharp, it's the most fun you can have without breaking the speed limit!
