Well, we atleast know that if these numbers are right... then the TSX was doing roughly the same to be competitive.

Haha! 5 speed!
But pretty impressive specs. If they squeezed that much from a 2.3 I wonder what ourr 2.4 is capable of? Seeing our bore and stroke might be a 'lil more square.

That's also why RTR went to one in the 07 season. 1 milisecond savings over the course of a race means seconds. RTR's problem was they got more TB restriction from the SCCA. I think they needed a new winner this year. Mazda is huge in Touring Car.

I remember reading an interview with Peter Cunningham about their K24 engine (I think from temple of vtec). He didn't say exactly the output of their engine, but he did say 'in the neighborhood' of 275hp.

hahaLittle did you know. I remember hearing about "a tuner that works these motors for Mazda", but the announcers never said who. I wonder if Comptech, since they do a lot of work on Hondas, wanted to keep it hush hush.
