13K so far. The noise is starting to come back, but it's still pretty quiet. I can only hear it if the radio is off. It's about one-quarter as loud as it was before the fix. But I'm sure as time goes on, it'll get loud again.

Anyone tried the dynomat, felt, or greasing ideas kolt45tsx suggested?

'08 TSX auto with 42K, just developed the same symptoms. This is an older thread, but I feel it's worth resurecting because others are probably having the same experience.

The described "rolling marble" noise just started a few days ago. I've removed everything from the storage compartments, with no relief. As others have posted, I can duplicate the problem at will.

I will take the information from post #30 (thank you) to my dealer and report back.

Pocketman:

Are you the original owner of the car or did you buy it used?

I am the second owner.

Dealer today "adjusted shifter/brake release switch and greased moving shifter components." I've not applied a stethoscope to the center console, but the noise appears to be remedied.

The noise is very faint. Glad I check on here, I thought it was just me hearing it.

Any solutions? The rolling marble sound is driving me nuts and with my car out of warranty I am thinking of just turning the radio up

Same noise different situations.

OK, so my 03 tl-s is making the same noise as when you hit the brake ( park switch/ solinoid). However mine amdoes it in the morning when it's very cold, I go through some high water ( only did that once), has done it a few times on the highway in the morning when it was very cold (20f). It clicks multiple times and the gear lights on the cluster blink with the light. When its in neutral I have to wiggle the shift knob to get the N light to light up. I was really surprised to see that high water affects it. Maybe there's a seal gone bad under the car allowing moisture to collect. Has never done it while the car was warm.

Hate to revive an old thread but everyone else's symptoms don't seem to match up with mine too much. Any help is appreciated, thank you! Oh and I did have the trans replaced with one with 100k on it. It's been about 14k since installation. No other issues. My car has 204k on it.
