Figured I should post at least one more update before I move into college tomorrow. First, I ran into a little problem on the expressway... By little problem, I mean I hit a piece of scrap that flew off a truck going 70 mph. And this is what happened:









Luckily, I didn't crash or flip the car. ..

Sooo, I was rolling ugly for a while:




I then noticed the surface rust on the spare, which led me to discover a nice rusted trunk:




So, before leaving my car until winter break I decided to repair it using rivets. I'll just let the pictures explain. Lots of silicone, rustoleum, sheet metal, rivets, and fiberglass:

And that just about sums up my ghetto repair.

So after my near death experience, I have a nice non-rusted trunk bed!

After all of that work (and a new rim), I decided to reward myself with some smoked bumper lenses:







And today before leaving for college I waxed and detailed her one last time...

I'm actually on springs right now (too poor for coilovers, lol). Those are 17 inch rims with 50 sidewalls. thanks
