I'm down if my car's ready by then! It need to be painted... Too bad you aren't still rolling on the Lude rims, then we'd really be twins, haha. If you've still got the rims + tyres, Kam was wondering about them so I think he might still be interested in buying them. That is, of course, if you are going to sell them. desired_speeds might be down to go, but not to drive, so he might be riding with me.

~Cheers~

i dunno, i'm keeping the stock 15's so i can put them back on the car if i ever sell it and i kinda want to keep the prelude rims if i ever have to go back to a more comfortable size so i have a stack of eight wheels and tires inside my apartment right now, its kind of insane looking...i'll have to take a pic later...

the only other rims i want right now are some 17in TL type-S rims or the 17in RSX type-S rims...if i get one of those, i'll put the prelude rims up for sale...i see prelude rims for sale all the time on craigslist for super cheap too...keep an eye out guys...

I have one.

You read right, just one, haha.

Anyhow, desierd had found a CLEAN set for 100 with almost new tyres in LA, I just didn't want to drive down there to pick them up.

~Cheers~

P.S. About having a bunch of rims, my garage looked like Firestone at one point, haha. If anybody has a whole shitload of rims, it's Colt!

got inspired by surfingscotty and got myself some lights...

2005 tsx projectors w/ clear lens and jdm headlights, got them both for a steal

i already have a xenon depot kit but the glare is insane...gonna reuse the ballasts (hella gen 3), harness, and bulbs (philips 85122), will be selling some casper shields soon if anyone is interested...color mod the projectors or keep them stock?

also got an estimate for painting and installing my flush mount spoiler...my m3 lip spoiler will be up for sale as soon as it goes on...

deciding whether to get nsx calipers or just use type II calipers...NSX calipers are impossible to find right now, been waiting ever since colt45 put his on...also need to decide if i want drilled, slotted, both or blank rotors? i'm leaning toward d/s rotors since i want to look at something nice through the spokes (i don't anticipate nsx calipers anytime soon)

comments appreciated...will post more pics soon...

hah, i was about to do tsx projectors. just never had the time to look for a set. btw i recommend slotted rotors because i've seem drilled rotors crack due to the area being weakened.

The lines of the 1G TL's have been a favorite of mine since I was a youngster and they were still new...dare I say I prefer the look to my own '02?

Your car is beautiful, the 18's are perfectly sized and the black really sets off the rest of the car. Keep up the good work.

to do it right, call ground control, tell them you want the coilover springs for the 3.2tl and gc sleeves from the 94-97 accord (for koni yellows). also get some bumpstops if yours are trashed. then just order koni yellows for the 94-97 accord...it will cost a lot initially but you will save money over the long run...

OR

if you just want to lower your car for as cheap as possible, just google for a gc kit for the 3.2tl, install it, wait for your shocks to blow then do the above. thats how i did it!(i don't recommend it)

tsx retro done, spoiler installed

tsx retro finally done, thanks to SurfingScotty for the inspiration

turned on

the flash from the camera is reflected in the projectors in this shot

from inside

from outside

some shots of the spoiler

last one

i'm glad its finally done, had to bake them open twice to fix the shrouds which was annoying as hell. if i could do it all over again, i'd leave the reflector chrome but i scratched the hell out of it the first time so i had to paint it. however, i have to admit the all blacked-out look is growing on me a lot.

more mods coming this summer! getting some 215/45/18s to put on the new rims, hope to get the legend type II calipers installed next weekend (just finished painting them today) along with new pads and rotors (i went with drilled and slotted from r1concepts). here's a teaser.

threw on the AR2s

what do you guys think? i loved the black rim, polished lip look of the rotas but these are growing on me, slowly...i couldn't stand these wheels with the black center caps so i put the honda caps from my prelude rims, makes them look sooooo much better...now i just got to put my H grill on the front and inspire/H emblems on the back and i'll be set...you can't see them but i put legend calipers on the front today...also put in drilled/slotted rotors all around but one of them was WARPED already! i also bled the brakes and forgot a caliper was out and ended up popping out the piston, BOOM brake fluid EVERYWHERE in the wheelwell, thankfully nothing got on the paint.

so what do you guys think, old rims or new rims?

throw some spacers on it. For some reason these wheels seem kinda big which throws it out of proportion.
