Your best be might be to ask the place where you bought the engine from. They're in California and have probably been asked about that before. The only similar info on that subject on this site that I recall reading is in a thread that someone did a similar swap but in a 1st gen CL. What I remember about that is that he never really solved the problem. I've never done that swap but I would guess that you'd need to use all of the external stuff from your USA spec engine. All of the intake, and exhaust, and the appropriate sensors, switches etc. Don't know what other sites you'd look to for this. Most site I've seen have very littlte action when it comes to 1st gen TL's. Good luck.
