What is the average life for the front struts?
I have been holding out for the past year. My drivers side front strut is leaking and has a bad strut mount causing an extremely loud rattling noise inside the cabin. It has progressively gotten worse the last few days. I am thinking I am going to have to break down and drop some money on replacing the front struts. I found a set of some Sensen struts for $130 and wanted to know if anyone has these on their RDX.
I believe mine are the OE and they are KYB? I have roughly 143k on my RDX right now so I guess that is good for OE suspension system?

I got around 110K on my front struts on my 08. I was crashing over every bump in the road before the fix. I also lowered my RDX on Eibach springs for about 80K of the 110K miles that might have helped my OEM struts die when they did. I tried to upgrade to KYB struts and KYB strut mounts and my RDX didn't like them. I had a annoying knocking noise when I had maneuver the RDX more than 45 degrees (like pulling out of parking spot at work). I ended up removing the Eibach springs and did the entire OEM struts tower for the front and KYB shocks for the rear. I also replaced the RSB with Progress (group buy) and put new endlinks. Feels like I'm back to normal (without the drop) and very satisfied with the fix since the RDX has transitioned to only daily commuter/errand vehicle (no more cross country trips).

I've read a few too many bad reviews of the Sensen shocks. I'd stick with KYB or Monroe if you want to go aftermarket.
