I saw that our RDX rims fit older TLs, but I forgot what site that was. I assume it would fit, but I also want to see a clean chop of those rims!

These are the closest angles of each car I could find on the Acura website. I think it would look great. Would anyone happen to know if the Type S wheels would fit on the RDX?

MRR Designs HR1

I'm contemplating between MRR Designs HR1 and HR2. Here is a P-Shop I did with a 20" HR1 and using Cose's friend vehicle as a basis. Sorry for my bad P-Shop skills, but you get the idea. Wheel has a machined face with silver inserts.

Hey SinCity that is good work. Could you do a p-shop of RonJon's Legend Type II's on my CGP?

This looks doable in real life. I wonder how much is it to find a perfect set.

Do you use the "Lasso" tool to cut the wheel out? I do and it is hard to trace around it. Is there a way to change the Lasso tool to make a circle?

I was thinking about a 20" or 19" BBS RS-GT, hopefully I will have enough cash to do it.
But the TL 19" does look nice lol

Which program are you using, for that particular PS I used Macromedia Fireworks, using that lasso tool you can click around the object and with certain settings it can select exactly what you chose, or a general shape, and there are circle tools available but they dont always work well..in Adobe just be steady with the mouse and take your time, you can also select by color theres another option when you choose lasso tool that makes it easier that I forgot. Hope that run-on sentence helped you a bit haha

edit: oh and another tip is to select the tire with it, so the edges arent choppy, and you can blend/darken/lighten the tire atleast to make it look normal

Element Wheels is having a group buy on the MRR Design wheels. Polished/Silver finishes HR-1, HR-2, and HR-3 prices as follows:

19" $877 shipped with hub centric rings.
20" $1048 shipped with hub centric rings.

This has to be the lowest prices on MRR Design wheels.

Thanks for this tip. This has made it easier. Now I need to learn how to lower it.

Those TL-S wheels look amazing on the RDX, and they're probably a perfect fit. Too bad they'd be so expensive.

If anyone has RDX factory 19's that they'll be replacing, let me know .

I have a 2006 MDX, so I'm interested in the wheels, not the tires.

Thanks JMJ for the quick response. I should have added that I'm looking for the sparkle silver 19's, not the chrome (or chrome-look finish). Thanks.

Can anybody tell me what 20" wheels do to the ride quality? I have the stock 18" wheels and the ride is pretty firm. I love the pictures btw, keep 'em coming!

I'd like to know also since my 20s are sitting in the garage waiting for tires. I wonder if it would be fairly close as compared to the stock Michellins. I read somewhere that the Michellins for the RDX has stiffer sidewalls in comparison to other 18s of the same size.

These are the 19" RonJon Legends in graphite. I had them installed yesterday and unfortunately, it was cloudy today so I couldn't get good pics.

Cose25: Yeah I've been debating about the front lip. I saw them installed on a dealer car but couldn't tell the difference until the salesman pointed it out so I passed at the time of purchase. Now you've got me thinking again.

I believe the tires are the Yokohama 245/45 19's. That's what I requested but I haven't actually looked.

The finish of the wheels is like nothing I've seen before. RonJon describes them well - they really do look chrome in bright light and darker and more subtle when the sun goes down. The only reason I didn't get silver was because they were backordered - now I'm glad I didn't get them.

Wow, thats got to be the most impressive looking combo I've seen the Legend involved with. i would have never guessed that would look that good. Thanks for the pics, I'm sure your car will help break the ice when it comes to the RDX and RonJon Wheels, you are the only person with that setup so far. looks like the Banner at the top of this page is about to get updated...

Just wanted to let you guys know that the group buy price at Element Wheels for the MRR Design HR-2s is still in effect (you have to call them however, they will not quote the discount price via email).

I bought a set of 19's for my MDX...love 'em

I bought a set of the 20" MRR HR2's for my RDX. They really do look outstanding.

No one else should buy them, though. I want to remain as unique as possible (even though I copied DNPhotog's).
