Michelin Pilot A/S 3
Just got home from getting a new set of tires on my 2010 RDX tech. The OEM tires (michelin pilot HX MXM4) got almost 40,000 miles. Installed a set of Michelin Pilot A/S 3. I am driving about a 1000 miles over the Thanksgiving Holiday.
I will post a brief review when I get back.

Initial Thoughts
I have about 1200 miles on the tires. So far I am impressed. The ride is good and road noise is less than the OEM Pilot. The handling seems about the same. I drove in rain for almost 500 miles and the tires were rock steady. it handled rain and pooling with ease. I felt very comfortable with tires.
I purchased the tires at Sams Club. They do not have Nitrogen fill at my sams club. I am thinking of changing over to Nitrogen. The pressure has been very steady so far.
I would rate them about 8 out of 10.
I will update after my first Tire Rotation.

I'm at 68k miles and the OEM Michelin's finally died....(mind you I swapped with winter tires every season, so that's how I got that much mileage out of it)...
Post an update, I'm considering these next spring...

I'm also considering the Pilot Sport A/S3 tires. Bought my '11 a few months ago and while the tires looked decent at the time, I discovered they need replacing with about 29000 miles. Very disappointing, especially for Michelins. I have been a Michelin gal for many years. Assume the tires are original since they are Pilot HX MXM4. I drive a good bit of curvy hills, winding roads and some steeper grades and drive a little fast at times. Nothing crazy but not a Sunday driver, so I think I need performance leaning tire but I like quiet and value ride quality of course. The OEMs have a hard ride and I don't like how they feel in sharper turns. Now I have previously driven "land-yacht" SUVs (2008 Expedition EL & 2005 Sequoia) and maybe my ride expectation is unreasonable....you folks tell me. I chose this little RDX due to reputation for value, the creature comforts I demand....and of course trading 15 mpg for 24 mpg. Any other tires worth considering or should I go with Pilot Sport AS3?
I have noticed some of the tires that interest me are not available in the P235/55 R18 99V size. Such as Michelin Primacy and Goodyear Tripletred.

^Hmm, alignment issues? Worn shocks? Other problems?
We are the original owners of an '11 RDX with 58K mi and are just now replacing the tires. Ours is a FWD (no LSD, so lots of wheel spin on launch and in rain) and we push it hard. Went with the stock tires from Americas Tire - ~$1000 for all four. I'm very happy with them, as far as wear. Would love something stickier with the limited traction issue!
^Just be sure all is well with your car since you only got half the miles we did.

I've got about 5k on the A/S 3's and quite pleased with them so far. I hope they last longer than the previous (MXM4 & MXV4 S8). They're a little softer and quieter than the other Michelins and perform well but I'm only on dry straight roads here in Phoenix, AZ.

I had a set of these installed a month ago and I love them.
My RDX had a set of Dunlop Grandtrek SJ6 on it when I bought it. They were decent winter tires but they were 5 years old, very loud and very poor dry road characteristics. I knew I was going to buy new winter tires the following winter so I ran them last summer. On wet roads I could drift all over the place it was a lot of fun.
Now with the Pilot Sport A/S3 tires I have yet to break the rear end loose. They really liven up the RDX, turn in is immediate, great road feel. Traction in the dry and wet is amazing and probably the most impressive thing about these tires.
I can only compare them to winter tires on the RDX but they are awesome worth every penny.

The A/S 3 outperforms some dedicated summer tires - it is really good. The downside is that the treadwear is pretty bad compared to other all-season tires, but again still better than most summers. I think the warranty is 40k, but not sure if that applies to all sizes. It will most likely be my next tire.
