PO847 - 3rd Clutch Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch Circuit Short B

Yesterday while driving the Check Engine Light and drive letter "D" was flashing. I plugged in my code reader and P0847 came up. I saw an older post from 2010 about this issue. Does anyone know where the sensor is located? I am going to order a sensor on RockAuto today. Does anyone know if this is the correct sensor? More Information for PA CARGO 98927B

Looks like a pressure switch!

on the Acura TL, the pressure switches can be found if you take off the drivers side wheel. they'll be right in your face on the transmission

I think I found it in the manual. Looks very straight forward.

awesome that you found that!
it doesnt say to take the wheel off, so it may be in a different position than the TL's. but still in the same general area!
good luck!

I've had to mess with all these switches.

I believe this one is on the front of the trans wich is facing the front of the vehicle. Take the under tray off, drivers side, should be a few inches up facing the back of the bumper. Pretty easy to get to. Switches are about $25 from company I can't remember name of but can be found many places online.

Mine had a broken wire, check that first.
