Headliner / sunroof rattle
Hi all,
So I found a lot of old threads on this, but they pretty much all date back to folks still in their warranty periods so I see nothing really in terms of DIY fixes. I have a rattle that has developed recently and seems to be related to the sun shade within the headliner. Fully closed or open, the rattle is there, but if I slide the shade open just an inch or so the rattle almost completely stops. Has anyone diagnosed any rattles in the roof and if so, have you also taken down the headliner to fix? Looking to see if it's worth my while or if I may just end up making things worse. At over 100k miles my first little noise isn't a huge concern, but if I can get rid of it without too much hassle, then great.
