I need to replace all 4 of the window belt moldings on the outside of each window. Does anybody have any instructions on how to remove and replace them. I have searched high and low and am not having any luck. Thank You

Honda calls that the "door outer weatherstrip" or "molding".

It's listed under "molding" in on-line parts look-up. Items 3, 4, 7 and 8 in the pic below.The molding includes new clips.

LF: 72450-STK-A01
LR: 72950-STK-A01
RF: 72410-STK-A01
RR: 72910-STK-A01

1. Remove the interior door panel. See: DIY -- Remove Door Interior Panel

2. Peel back the white plastic/rubber watershield enough to access the 2 window bolts. (The butyl rubber is a sticky pain.)

3. Raise the window about halfway, so the 2 window bolts are visible in the door holes.

4. Remove the 2 window bolts and lift the window (rear first) up and out through the top of the door.

5. Using a plastic pry tool, from inside the door, release the clips on the weatherstrip molding. Start at the front and work back, lifting the molding as you go. (I haven't done this, so I'm not sure how the clips release. Once you get one, it should be apparent.)

Snap in the new weatherstrip molding and reassemble.

Hey Folks,

DIY - Just replaced all 4 doors outer belt moldings. Dealer cost of parts $200 online.

You do not need to remove inter door panels. Only need to remove front triangle plastic tweeter housing for front door and side molding for the back door. start from the inside of car and you can remove the outer plastic moldings to get the door belt molding.

Did this have any major impact on the amount of wind and/or road noise that filters into the cabin?

I have the same problem, with one of my front door window seals forming multiple cracks and one of my rear door window seals forming multiple cracks, all within a couple of months. The car is always garaged here in Houston, so exposure to extended exposure to UV or heat or cold hasn't been part of the history. My independent certified Honda/Acura mechanic told me to contact Acura first, because he thought Acura was replacing the parts under some kind of after warranty warranty, sort of like the air bag recall. I've done a search today, but can't find any mention of a recall or service bulletin. Will Acura replace these?
