This was my second visit to the shop, and I was all set up to hire him to fine tune me at WOT. He only charged me for 3 pulls and said that he couldn't do better than the VIT tune, that everything looked fine. I'll be happy to post up datalogs from the pulls and the information he got.

Give about 28% power loss in the drivetrain based on this information, that means that I'm about 290 at the crank? compared to 240 stock? I'm personally not disappointed in that at all.
WTF, this has no merit at all. He is running FWD, so there is no drivetrain loss what so every. Unless of course he got it fixed to run AWD, but from the most recent post, he is only running FWD...

I doubt you would have smoked the tires, if your track is like any others; then it would have some sticky compound on there and with your current HP numbers there is no way it would have broke loose. This is me when I ran a 14.8 while running just FWD, tires didn't even brake loose.

in fwd mode only mine break loose it also depends on your tires....you have much wider ones.

In the video I was running a 235/40r19. I didn't get the 285 until after this video.

Don't get me wrong the tires will definitely break loose on the street which I experienced this with all my tire sizes the 275 the 285 the 235 and the factory 235. On the track it's a different story. Unless you just got some really bad worn out tires then it could be achieved.

Also, depending on your local strip, how the track is prepped. I used to go on the "run what you brung" drag days, and the prep really varied from week to week. I do love the smell of fresh VHT.

Huh? I'm talking about on mine. These results were on an all wheel dyno.

Also, there is drivetrain loss for two wheelers, I'm pretty sure - no car gets the same whp as they do bhp, it's just that the difference is less pronounced.

Starting to get a tranny issue. Going to do a flush. I'm guessing it's a selonoid but in S sometimes when its super hot it is getting stuck in second. I just won't shift even going to D. I can monitor trans temp in torque so its somthing i will have to keep a eye on. Waiting for revision 3.0 to show up. I ordered a new axel when I get to put it in who knows . should take 20mins to do. My front tires are just about slicks now. Driving in the rain is tough .. Spins even in higher gears at low rpms romping on it.

How is your daily driving if it is anything like the driving in your videos , you are going to have issues. Take it easy on her.

Not to stir the pot, but these are around the numbers I layed down with no mods only the flashpro and a really quick tune.

Results? 207whp, 222 wtq. Not bad at all, I think, considering my mod set - I'm pretty much running nothing other than ETS intercooler, RV6 downpipe, flashpro, and 800cc injectors. Max duty only 52% on the latter, so if I went further I'd have a lot of headroom there.

For now I'm just going to sit on things, and wait until all the kinks are worked out of Wrench's 3.5" MAF housing and tune. Since I'm at 4.85v on my MAF sensor, I'd max it out if I did a catback at this point.

I think that must be where I'm losing boost up top: the turbo can't push any harder against the exhaust restriction. But to do exhaust I'd need more room on the MAF sensor...and...

So! Keep us updated and let us know when you've got a tuned that's scaled for your 3.5" Wrench!

Not stirring the pot at all! Got logs and cals? I'd love to see.

Particuarly if you datalogged your dyno pull, I can maybe see what's going on in mine, if I'm pushing low.

So like I said this was a quick and ugly tune to see what the car would make if we played with boost and timing a little. To be clear, car never left the dyno on this tune, we flashed back to a map i use for fuel economy. Just can't figure out how to upload it.

I'm done, but I just paid for a retune in order to get a starting map for intake with 3.5" maf housing and 3" double-muffler catback.

On my first 1200cc tune body still in the air. I will have him tune this puppy when we're done putting things back together. I want to see this against the RDX.

Best et. 4050lbs. #37 revision, still in fwd. Did the axel. Had awd for a hour started beating on it and set a light.. Sensor is dirty so 1 more cleaning and should be good. I dropped tire pressure to 20psi in the front .heat soaked grabbed my by the balls as I could not resist hot lapping. Ran 15.0's all day like constient as hell.. Iats at 135-140.. I've worked but did t last long. Staging lanes killed me, the cooler weather I'll go back before it closes and shouldnt be a issue.my best RT of the night was a .080 I was supped. That was all I could really work on besides launching when it was heat soaking.

Really looking into taking the next step with my rdx and buying flashpro and injectors. Wont take much to get me into the 13's considering I ran a 9.1 @ 75mph in the 1/8th with only a reflash and rv6 catless downpipe. Some good information in here guys, thanks for sharing!

Vit tuned

I just bought my 12 Rdx a week ago and purchased flashpro and a vit tune , looking at getting a rv6 downpipe and injectors before he tunes it. Excited to see how it runs even with just flashpro. Best part about the rdx , it doesn't appear to be a car that would be fast so will surprise a lot of people .

I had a bad experience with Vittuned.
I ordered the Flashpro + Ultimate Tune on July 28, 2017 in preparation for all my mods.
On August 14, I inquired about the status of my order.
I received an email stating that the Flashpro was a special order from Hondata and that he will order it for me this week.
When I questioned why he didn't order it when I placed my order, I received a refund email with no explanation.
I hope your transaction go smoother than mine.

Vit is a busy guy and I know that so when I ordered mine I simply patiently waited . Vit doesn't stock the rdx flashpro so he has to order them from hondata and from there he ships to you . Believe me ive had to have allot patience with my build so far. Took 3 months after ordering my parts till I got them installed and now Im having transmission issues which Im hoping to have fixed by wed this week. Vit has already started tuning mine but I had to wait 2 weeks almost from time me and josh fletcher installed everything till vit got my idle well enough to drive the car. Well my trans fluid was older and now from setting it caused sticky trans press switches so my 2nd-3rd shift , 3rd - 4th and 4th to 5th is horrible now . So once I get the switches changed im hoping soon to be able go Wide open throttle with my rdx. Only hit 9 .5 psi part throttle so far.

He is still tuning cars but no longer with Hondata or ktuner. Only thing he uses now is Motec which is a high end computer and very expensive. Around 5000.00

Good evening,

Thanks, for the great response. That’s a ridiculous amount of money for suvs that have over a hundred thousand miles on them. I’ll just stick with the hondata. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

Based on my research, Vit was arguably the best e-tuner for the 1G RDX.

I’m looking to get FlashPro for my RDX, and I don’t have any local tuners, so e-tune sounds like the best way for me to get the most out of the software. Now with Vit leaving the market, are there some other reputable e-tuners out there we can turn to?

Anyone know how to reach Vit?

I am trying to get my tune updated (never finished it) I tried to submit my data log through Vits site as usual, however, it has disappeared and has a new skin. I tried support@vittuned.com, and Facebook without a response. I'm sure he is busy, just trying to get my file inline to be updated.
