I don't think you can say power wise unless you have dyno charts. It supports the 800cc injector. Rob at Humble Performance said a guy made 400hp on just the DW200. But, we won't make enough power to even make this pump sweat.

No problem. I have a question, what adapter do we need to run aftermarket BOV? Mazda speed3?

I could make you an adapter plate if you send me the bov you want to use if you do a really good job marking your pipe I could weld that up as well. its up to you. although I thought I read that our stuff was good to 20 psi

The install was easy and straight forward. All you do is removed the right rear seat and pill the carpet back.

ken,

hi, your project looks awesome. I have a couple of questions:

have you been able to upgrade your turbo yet?
is the cam part number 63451T-2 (Acura K20A RSX DOHC Turbo Camshaft)?

what kind of CELs have you got and what part install caused it?. I ask because I am trying to beef up my RDX without going all out race or getting a bunch of CELs or custom tuning.

I have tried cams in other vehicles and seems to be one of the best bang for the buck mods to provide real HP gains. I had a GT2560R turbo fitted with a GT3071 compressor wheel and it also provided good gains (~20HP at the wheels).

currently I have the std hondata reflash, methanol injection and CAI. Do you think the cams would need the dual spring set if you are only going up to 7000 RPM?

thanks in advance for your feedback.

I have not upgraded the turbo yet. Are you talking about the stock cam or the BC stage 2 turbo cam I installed?

The only CEL I got was when I put the 3" exhaust on, but the rear O2 was turned off via flashpro, so currently I have no CEL.

The RBC intake manifold and ZDX throttle body was probably my best bang for the buck, I think. But, I'm still going though...

you would need to upgrade to flashpro to do cams.. and yes you need dual spring for the valves.. it even recommends it on the website.

I haven't seen any flow tests for the RDX manifold. Would you be able to test both manifolds? The RDX one looks like it might offer better distribution to the cylinders.

Yes, for stock intake volume. I plan on making some power and you can't make power with a D-series sized intake manifold. Most of the stock bolt on parts for the K23a1 are sized for emission reasons. Small potatoes....

Oh, I was thinking along the lines of the IPS manifold. The design is like the RDXs. Short runners, shaped plenum, and a convenient place for the throttle body. They flow very well and make power. They cost quite a bit too. I thought it was worth looking into, but you're probably right.

I don't think that intake manifold will work, because it can not be flipped. The throttle body opening is facing down. Now, Xcessive manufacturing makes a manifold that I looked in to. It can be flipped, so the throttle body opening is facing up. But it would probably be to big for our setup. The RBC is "one" of the best flowing intake manifold along side the RRC. I think the RBC will do well with our setup.

Sorry, the guy hasn't driven his RL in a while. I will have to push him in to bring it monday and hopefully we can get some measurements of both RDX and RL propeller shafts. RL part #40100-SJA-E02 $1566.75

I hear ya. The stock RDX shaft was around 400.00, so the RL's must be a better quality piece for that OEM price.

Have to change my vtec point. I'm tired of the 2500 vtec engagement. With the cams the vtec is more audible and it is getting annoying at every stop ( mmMMBbbaahhh.) Flashpro owners, what do you have your vtec point set at or what is stock engagement set at?
