Will you lose air flow without a shroud to channel the air into the fins?

boost is at 15-16 psi no more than the reflash , and i am running a after market intake . my tuner said the maf housing is to small (i.d.) but its stock cut off the stock airbox. maybe after market intakes have different diameter. or the maf housing is designed different. stock diameter is 3 inches
mods include UR pulley, ets tmic, 3in dp, gutted stock cat 2nd, atlp catback ,cai, flash pro.

No vid, did not notice any change, the intercooler could have been warmer with the shroud on.

Absolutely no point in barely upgrading. You'd max them out fast. 1000's and call it a day. You'll be set for a while.

You're maxing out the Flow on the MAF sensor options are have a bigger housing for the maf sensor or disable maf and tune using Speed Density. I find it hard your maxing out the MAF sensor with a 3" housing double check on housing make sure it doesn't reduce where the MAF sensor is located. Or if they placed the sensor right after or before a bend

Yeah, there are some option on the flashpro for different size intake, like 3", 4", or custom. Let your tuner know about this, it is in the calibrations settings.

Well just finished emailing Evergreen Turbo back and forward, and it's a pretty good chance I will be upgrading the stock TD04HL-15TK31-VFT 49389-01031 (RDX turbo), Charlie from Evergreen say that he has seen gains of 40hp with the upgrade. With those numbers I cannot pass that up.

My mechanic suggested that I get it tuned first before I get the turbo upgrade. Just to see what the cams did. Evergreen didn't give me a price, but I'm sure it will be around the same as Dresx said before in the earlier post (page 1).

TheWrench116, you are not blind. What you saw was a FD2 Civic Type-R valve cover. Only thing is does for me is that it looks good; however, it is going to make oil changes a lot more fun (monster garage on the weekend).
