Is it possible to replace the tail lights with LED lights or will that damage something? If so what type of LED lights should one get?

You can get LED tails of the same fit, so they go right in. I bought LED's once, but they only lasted a whole week (both of them).

You also have to keep in mind, signal lights need a resistor to work right since LED's have much less resistance. I'm not an expert on it, but keep it in mind and do a bit of research before buying something.

There is another thread about LED's. I have switched out all of my interiors for LED's. That thread has all the part numbers and where I bought them. Working fine for 9 months or so.

Edit: I did not change the vanity lights or the console light.

LED Brake Lights

I hope this hasn't been asked before, sorry if it has, but:

I know you can replace the bulb for the upper rear hatch brake light with an LED direct replacement, but I really like the look of LED strip lights as brake lights on other vehicles. Has anyone looked into this as a replacement, maybe for the whole housing, instead of 1 bulb in the middle, a strip of LED's across the whole thing?

....OK, howabout the Low-beams, I know they're HID D-2S's but what temperature are the factory bulbs. I'm trying to figure out what color (temp) to get fogs in. I hear most factory HID's are around 4000k-5000k, but I want to match the fogs to my Factory low-beams as possible. Anybody else installed HID fogs that match pretty close? Pics would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Do you think these would work in the 4500k range?

Excellent thread, thank you! I have a base model and assume the lows are already HID. Can someone please confirm?

Going to get a 3000k HID kit for the fogs soon to get that JDM look not to mention better performance in foggy conditions.

After doing some researching, I've concluded that HID lows are standard
