Just taken the center storage console apart and waiting for the new cover to arrive. Both my door armrests are bubbling like the center console. Has anyone replaced theirs yet?

I haven't removed the door trim panel yet and wondering how does the armrest attaches onto the trim panel?

Replaced mine about a year ago with leather. Went to a boat/auto interior place with old torn one. 2 days and $75 later all good. Color matched well, soft, and hasn't aged a bit.

Acura cheaper out big time on the console and materials but easy fix.

Yeah, the shop I took mine do gave it a once over and said the console and door inserts are actually all vinyl while only the seats are real leather. It's a decently soft vinyl, but it wears quicker. So far my doors look good but I did have to replace my center piece last year. The shop put a piece of real leather on, and matched the color and stitching. Car even smelled like new leather for a month!

Bought the cheap ebay leather insert for $25. Had a coworker install it for $25. Great quality and great match. I love it.
