If I get this, will I get stock navigation?

Hi guys,

So I want to know something. I got the base 2009 rdx and was wondering.. If I buy the item below, will I get the navi which comes with tech package?

I noticed in the tech package, the bottom
Trims have additional buttons, do I need that part to make it work?

Also, would I need to buy some cd or will it work?

Finally, could I buy a rear view camera and hook it up to that and make it work?

Those parts are only for a direct replacement of an existing tech/navi unit. The OEM navi unit only has about 20% of the functionality of a aftermarket Navi units of today. Once you price out all the OEM parts and labor, it would cheaper if you trade for a RDX with navi. You would be better off going aftermarket to get back up cam, bluetooth music streaming, better iPhone integration, updated maps, etc...

There isn't that much difference in a navi and non-navi prices compared to the difference in prices compared to mileage. You are going to spend a lot of $$$ updating a +9 year old info-tainment system.

Yikes not an option then.

I searched this forum but couldn't find anything on after market navi in dash.

Has anyone installed a after market navi dash on the base model?

If not, would regular double din work? Or do you guys know of a preferred dash that works with the rdx base model?
