Cruise Control Light won't stay on.
When I press the cruise control button the light comes on then goes off. I have no CEL codes or any other indication of a problem. The fuses don't indicated one for the cruise control. Thanks for any suggestions.

The master cruise switch or just the set button? If I recall the master switch is spring loaded, like a push-button pen. If that spring mechanism breaks, the switch may not stay on.

I think it is the button on the Steering wheel like u stated. If I hold the cruise button down and press the engage button the cruise works until I release the cruise button itself. I was wondering if there may b a relay that is energized when the cruise button is pressed. Thank U 4 the reply...

I doubt it's a relay. When you push the button, the electrical contacts touch and turn on the cruise control. With the spring not releasing the button all the way back up, the electrical contact is maintained. With the spring broken, as soon as you let go of the button the contact is broken, switching cruise back off.
I'm taking a stab here on the process, as I've replaced a button assembly of a steering wheel on a different car before but not this one. Definitely research yourself before attempting a fix if you want to DIY, but this should give a general idea of what needs to be done.
1. Remove silver plastic trim of steering wheel (this *might* require you to remove the center first, which in turn *might* require you to remove and/or disconnect the airbag - TAKE CARE!)
2. Once done, the entire right side button assembly should be a single piece, held on by a clip and / or screw, and a wire plug.
3. Remove and replace button assembly (should be simple once you have access), and reassemble steering wheel in reverse order.
