97 CL Radio Crackling in the Cold
Whenever I start my car when it's cold out and put the radio on it immediately starts crackling and won't stop until some time after it warms up. This only happens with the FM/AM radio and not a CD or cassette, so I know it is not a problem with the speakers. It's pretty annoying in the winters when I can't listen to the radio or even through my FM Bluetooth adapter until about 5-10 after I start driving.
I'm thinking that it could be the radio antenna that gets too cold and just needs to warm up but I'm not entirely sure.
Is it the radio unit itself or just the antenna? And if it is the antenna or radio, can it be fixed?

sounds like a bad connection, possibly a loose ground or something
